In the 1930's, when your cars needed some minor work done, a service man would drive the Dispatch Tow to your home, he would clamp the JAWS that you see on the front of the Dispatch Tow to the back bumper of your car, then he would drive the car to the service station with the Dispatch Tow draging behind. The Giant Clamp acted as a kind of a trailer hitch.
